Interfaces
In the last years, interfaces became more important than before for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and are an essential part of digitalizing and automatizing business processes. Common cases are sending PDF files like invoices, delivery notes or order confirmations. More complex examples are EDI integrations with supplier or customer systems. A newer and growing partner is eBill to send out e-invoices.
Axperience provides a modern and stable Add-on for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Dynamics AX to plan, steer and control all kind of interfaces easily.
Incoming and outgoing files us individually defined connections like sFTP, E-Mail, File System, Sharepoint or Webservice, to integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Connections
The basis of sending documents are the connections. The following types of communication are supported:
- File system
- FTP and FTPS
- SFTP
- HTTP
- E-Mail (SMTP, POP3)
- SQL
- SharePoint
- SOAP/REST Service
Incoming documents (Downloadtrans)
Downloadtrans are incoming documents like XML, PDF, JSON, TXT / CSV, XLS, etc. and are imported to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations via a connection. Imported documents are being processed asynchronously. The processing status is visible at any time and users can control and steer the process in case of errors, to finish the import. Examples:
- EDI order creates a sales order which can be processed
- Save a PDF vendor invoice (e.g. with QR as XML) in pending vendor invoices
- Receiving of goods with ASN/DESADV
Outgoing documents (Uploadtrans)
Outgoing documents are called Uploadtrans. The Add-on creates a document from a defined source/process in Microsoft Dynamics like posting a sales delivery note or invoice. The format of the exported document is defined in the processing class of the interface. PDF is one of the simplest formats, while the module can also generate complex EDI files. Furthermore, the Add-on can transfer reports from the electronic reporting module (ER).
Created uploadtrans documents will be processed asynchronously by batches and are being transferred via the chosen connection of the interface. Examples:
- Sending invoices / order confirmations / credit notes by email as PDF
- E-Invoice to PostFinance (eBill)
- Master data to third-party systems
- Transport order to carriers

E-Invoices
The interface module by Axperience supports a full integration to PostFinance eBill. The full process, from registering the customer to send out invoices, is automatized and can be fully controlled in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Vendor invoices are being downloaded and processed directly and automatically rom PostFinance.
